Title: Now what
Post by: jason8612 on November 11, 2007, 12:46:33 am
started out 2 days ago and I already 18 routes and 3 planes maxed out. I got 100% utilization at my home base, so expanding would be basically cutting down my routes to 1 or .5 and redoing all the route structure. I got a current DOP of 180K, so for me to have the capital to open a base would take a few days, and if I expand will take longer. I can't buy anymore gates in my home base. What to do now? still new to this game.

Well, you should try and build a terminal. This will allow you to get more gates. If you dont or cant do that, you must set up a base elsewhere, which still has gates,(if you have the cash). I suggest you buy or lease more planes. *message deleted*

*edited by dktc: all ordinary aircraft trades should be limited to A-Z Aircraft Market, and all extra-ordinary ones (translated: ultra-cheap deals from official brokers) should go in A-Z Brokerage market  *

Sorry, you would have to be patient. There are gates that pop-up occasionally, which you might be able to grab if you pay close enough attention. However, the way to go is either build a terminal or start another focus city. You could buy larger planes and upgrade your fleet, but that is not that profitable and would hinder your progress.

hmm.. let's say the "ultra-cheap deals from unofficial brokers" are considered ordinary transactions  and I think I can speak for all forum users when I say you will always have a special place in our hearts, Jps.

6. D Express would match the officially listed lease rate of any official broker for any type of aircrafts, given that the price is still listed on their thread when negotiating.

I mean like you can't even beat some of the players' price... how could you beat the other brokers?

6. D Express would match the officially listed lease rate of any official broker for any type of aircrafts, given that the price is still listed on their thread when negotiating. - 6a. Special offers from counterparts are excluded. - 6b. Not applicable for leases that require ordering of new planes. - 6c. Please inform D Express if/when this offer applies to your order.
Isn't that clear? We only match the official fixed rates (or rack rates as hotels call them) from the other 3 official brokers when we are informed about those rates and that the lease order does not require any new planes to be brought. We don't care about what rates the non-official broker wannabes are, because we don't match them anyway. And this is only for leases. We sell at whatever prices we want to. You don't have to buy from us. (Go ahead and buy from GAG, if you believe his gags :) )

I have no idea, and I don't care until my customers tell me. Btw, I don't even need to care as of this moment.
