I don't really understand this...
I'll try to create a route, I have one here that is 1003 miles long and there is a plane I can use it for with 10 hours available.
I have another that I look at with 763 miles on it, but it shows no planes available even though the one that shows on the 1003 route is still available.
Edit: I also have a plane with 18 and 11 hours, which doen't show up under either route. (These are all Curtis CW-20s so it's not like they have different speeds/ranges)

Please list what routes you're trying to do.
-
My best guess with your limited information is that the planes don't serve either airport of the routes you are trying to create.

So there are actual limitations as you can't have the same plane doing two routes, departing from different bases without having them connected somehow?

They are Jeddah - King Abdulaziz Intern to Dhahran-King Abdul Aziz Intl
And Tel Aviv-Ben Gurion Airport to Dhahran-King Abdul Aziz Intl

Correct. There is no way to teleport the plane over

(Though it should be noted this is buggy, as I have instances of planes with routes initiating at disconnected airports. Admins: see aircraftID 52068 which has routes starting at four different bases.)

As long as they get to the same destination, it would be fine. If not, your player's id is needed.

I've had "disconnected" planes a few times in the game this round. Unfortunately, I was closing the routes to swap out planes, so I didn't save the information.

AirlineID: 6654 Three routes go to the same destination, but the fourth route (Cincinnati) doesn't appear to be connected at all. This is just one of a few examples I think I have in my fleet.

Good to know, Didn't know this game had that feature.

I think the disconnected routes happen when closing routes.
Example: You have a plane going from A - B, B - C, C - D. You then close B - C and leave the C - D hanging.

Yes it happens when closing routes... but it's usually not quite as small of a diagram. As i recall, the breaking point is possible at the earliest being 6 routes. i need to fix this, yes. i will when i figure out a better method of checking for this situation. but no, it should not be possible at 3.

Almost true :P
