Title: So what happens in 1960?
Post by: bryandaja on November 05, 2007, 06:09:06 am
In about four months, when the game hits the end of the decade, what happens? Will all our monies reset? Will all our gates and planes be returned? With the disparity between accounts on this game, I sure hope so. Thanks for letting me know. I wasn't able to find this info in the wiki.

When 1960 rolls around, the admins will high five each other, kill the web server process, and go out for beer - leaving AM addicts convulsing on the floor, since all they see is HTTP 404 Not Found :D

And the moderators here get to administer the doses of valium and ritalin for a couple of days. And valiantly attempt to kill off all the annoying 'when is the game coming back' thread.....

I think it's unlikely we get something as big as a DC8 or 707...
But no more DC3 please!

It has to be something small. Don't dream that it'll be 707 because that won't happen. Try De Havilland Otter :P

DH.86 Express? Beech 65 Queen Air? Piaggio P-166? Dornier 28? DH.104 Dove variants? or even Cunliffe-Owen Concordia? (if our new ADO or myself can find the range for it)

You can base the Cunliffe-Owen Concordia's range off of the DC-3 or Beech 1900D. Maybe about 1000 to
2000mi would do it. Just pick a random number in between those.

And those 6 didn't really "do it right" What I mean by that is...well... they just looked like DC-3s and had a slightly better range and so they were considered "crud". None were mad after that point.

Concordes are in the database, so whenever they're in the db to enter production... that's when you can order them. isn't it delicious?

I think we may need to double check that. Stephen did something to those planes after that bug last rounds. We may want to check to ensure they do get out in time and would not be affected by bugs. (and by "we", I mean you :P )

I guess we will see more Concordes after the first day of production that ever entered service in reality

Can we please have the Lockheed Electra as our starting aircraft? It has a good load, and it crashes a lot!
