Title: 0.5 Exploitation

Sorry if this has been discussed before.  I tried searching for 0.5 but that's not really an adequate query string.

Could someone explain to me what the 0.5 exploitation (bug?) is all about?  I understand that we're restricted to 2 0.5 routes but is that per airline, airplane, city, or what?  Why are people motivated to create 0.5 routes and why is it discouraged?

2 0.5 per city pair.

2 0.5 earn you more than 1 1.

It is a known "cheat".

So we're not allowed to have more than 2 0.5s per city pair?  

This sounds like this is a bug in the algorithm, not a cheat.  Wouldn't it be easier to tweak the way that profits are calculated than to create a task force to enforce this exploitation?

Sorry... but this has been discussed before. This has been discussed so much that I stopped following the discussion :roll:

You don't even need to search for it. Just look through the first couple of pages of General Chat and Suggestions and you will find several topics about this.
