I personally think that all the planes are good, it really comes down to what factors you are looking for. I think if it fits what statistical criteria you're looking for, then yeah, it should be just what you needed.

Depends on what route you use it for.

The Bellanca is perfect for my ops, because more than half of my routes are within its range.

I have a lot of them. It's a good plane, but not as good as I was expecting.
The positives: Price. It's ultra-cheap. It's got a decent passenger load, speed, and range, making it the cheapest useful plane in the game by quite a margin. If you're short on cash and badly need some extra planes, the Aircruiser's the best plane in the game.
The negatives: It's really too small for anything besides short-hop routes to small cities. You can't build a competetive airline with just Aircruisers - you need something bigger to fly the real money-making routes.

its the cheapest plane for "moving people" within its range, but with very little potential for growth, even a 10 freq only moves 160 pax

Remember cheapest, Most Efficient and Most profitable are not the same thing.

ok lets make it "lowest cost per passenger seat for missions within the 500nm mission schedule, considering planes speed, aquisition cost, seats and turnaround time". that being said, its abysmal capacity make it a plane with little value outside of thin routes, especially given its laughable range

It all really depends on the route. If you fly, say, Vancouver to Portland, the Aircruiser is a useful aircraft. However, if you fly Pittsburgh to New York, it's better to get a DC-3 or larger.
