It looks like I am out of the game.
It a complete cheat from the get go.
Airlines with 15 aircraft and the game is only starting!!!!
If people are going to cheat at least make it less obvious.
I was 85 on the list now I'm down to the 440's
If people cant play fair then its not worth playing at all.

You have brokers which collect scrap aircrafts automatically, they dont cheat.
Also if you suspect anyone of cheating please PM a mod or email "staff at airlinemogul dot com" with who you suspect is cheating.
Ranting or threating to quit is not going to catch them.

The admins have the powers to punish/ban cheaters. All it takes is a simple PM or e-mail. It's also not instantaneous, it may take a day or two for the scofflaws to disappear.
You can't be bothered to do that?

hmm... If you don't want to help make this a better community, I can't force you to stay either. This is an open forum, but that doesn't mean you can accuse whoever you want. I could accuse you of cheating and then ranting because you got caught (which is not true at all... at least the getting caught part :roll: ) if that is allowed. Email us at <staff@airlinemogul.com> would help us get the cheaters banned, and then deleted. I have been doing that in the past 12 hours, except when I had lunch. It is 9pm and I still have not had my dinner. Come help us help you. It is not the game's fault nor the admins' fault that cheaters exist. Ranting and whining would not help at all.

You really need to read the post before you go ranting.
Skylite and Orange are our official brokers who recieve the scrap planes from other airlines without a choice.

Your right Ranting and Whining is no help to anyone.
Everyone could be cheating for all I or you know (Including me) and if I am then I'm not very good at it as I only have one aircraft going to 2 locations.
All you have to do is look at the top of the ranking list to see who is just taking the Pi** out of it all.

lease companies are brokers hey have tocarry passengers to make a profit so the can give you negative markup on brokerage requests, aso if they stock heaps of aircrats and are leasing cheap or not leasing at all thy still need to pay maintenace.
If you are whinging about being ranked 440th you should look into yor strategy as there are not 400 cheaters

Can brokers carry passengers.
Would it not be better to have a separate broker list or give the aircraft to lease companies so they can distribute the aircraft in a fair way!!
There may be posts after this as it seems we are all on line together.

Read the other threads. I don't need another argument in this thread. If any "suggestions" for a "better" brokerage system goes here, this thread will be banned (da*n... I menat locked... have been banning too many accounts today :roll: ). Post them in relevant thread(s) already available.

I suggest that disclose the list of banned player
iin order to shows all the players the game is fair and all of the cheaters and bugusers will be banned

Other thing. Please read the forums before you start pointing fingers to players YOU think are cheaters. Skylite, Hampo and me are brokers, so we get all the planes scrapped by bankrupt players. Which also means we are constantly in debt at the start of the round, and have to sell them on to survive.
Every airline has a fighting chance to get up in the rankings. You just have to have a decent strategy, and you'll make it. If you don't, and just start competing on some of the major routes serviced by 5 airlines, you won't make it. I don't, I have only a few overlapping routes with other airlines. Still, I have almost 60 routes.

The point is, it is just time-wasting and I am not paid. Then I got blames and targeted. What is the point of keeping whiners happy if they would still keep whining?

I would suggest then maybe you are trying to do too much and you need to recruit some help in order that situations will get dealt with more effectively. I mean put a recruiting thread up asking for more AM staff or moderators. Try to get more people working with you so you can eat at a decent time.

Well I would suggest maybe this thread is not visible enough and maybe a recruiting message needs to go on Air Mogul's home page. Or maybe multiple threads need to go up to try to make the recruiting more visible.

Ok then my next question is : How much interest in the position has been declared form these suitable people (Has there been any at all??) and how much effort is being made to get these suitable people on the Air Mogul Team?? If that info is classified as secret that is ok I understand.

As with any position for which some responsibility and visible maturity is required, applicants will have to show some pro-activeness and visible aspiration to join the AM team. On the current staff, I don't think there's active recruitment anymore for the positions currently open.
Besides, why on earth do you ever, ever need to know?

lol, trying to help save you guys some time I guess and get more people working on making the game better so people lilke me can enjoy it more. :)

I just got here, and there is not nearly as much cheating and bugs as there is on Airline Empires. Count your blessings that the admins here are working hard to keep peace and order.

I've got 15 Martin 4-0-4s on order. Keep in mind the Bellybottom Superduperaircruisers are dirt cheap planes.

but still 16 DC-3's... thats alot..... 16 times 3mill is 46 million plus another 20 million plus those two junkers....

With 66 routes? That's quite doable, actually.

I just have my little base at PIT, hopefully going to start another base at MIA. I have 3 DC-3s, no planes on order, and 12 routes originating from PIT... DOP is almost 543k Euros, cash on hand is over 4.1 million Euros, Airline value at over 18 million Euros. I am only ranked 137th in North America, but hope to rapidly expand... and do that legally! :-)

I don't think thats quite true.
In the last round I had a great strategy for moving up the ranking. so much so that I went from 680 to 142 at the end of the game. I only joined over halfway through the game.
This time around its a bit off putting knowing that some airlines have an unfair advantage of all the others.
There should be a seperate list for airlines, brokers and lease compaines
Airlines list should be passanger carrying only and all be even at the start.
Brokers, and Lease companies should not be allowed to fly passangers if they are been given aircraft (in turn getting an unfair advantage)
If this is not done then at least there should be a profile set up called Boneyard and all unused aircraft sent there.

There is no "leasing companies" in the game, at least not officially. There are only 4 official brokers.
As I have said, if you want to seperate it that way, all brokering features should be taken away from the airlines. (ie. you could no longer sell / lease, but only scrap planes.) This is not what Stephen is willing to do, and I don't think this is what the majority of the players would like to see. As a result, the "leasing companies" and "unofficial brokers" would still be there. The brokerage system has been discussed elsewhere, in suggestion.

Brokers have to pay for them as well. The whole broker system is created to recycle the scraps as requested by the players here.

you fail to realize that brokers are not a competiton, but a help.
look at the current numbers, the brokers are all the way up there, but they will be no longer there within a few days, since they BROKER instead of using the capital to expand the airline.
ALL! brokers already fell behind players. even orange is behind the three top DOP players, of whom one has 3x dop of orange, one has twice the dop and the third one about 2m more.
stop witchhunting the brokers, they are a great help, look at hampo, he only has 3m or so dop, although his spot makes people think its more.
its a service to the community, not a competition. if you are bothered by them being in top10, maybe you should wait a week or two. if you then see that there are practically only non broker players in top10, you should wonder why they are there and not how brokers are bad, that is if you want to enjoy the game.
