Title: Auto Bankrupt
Post by: StephenM on October 13, 2007, 07:58:56 pm: Just a quick note we are now testing in the live enviornment an auto bankruptcy script. This will be run from time to time by Airline Mogul admins and will automatically bankrupt any airline that has a value of less than €0. You will be emailed if your airline has been effected.

Any issues please report via bugs or email (http://www.airlinemogul.com/staffemails/staff.gif)

So if someone goes into the negative, they won't be affected unless it happens to be at the same time the script is run.

Your ok, its not when you go into debt. Its when you go so far into debt that you can no longer pay off the debts with assets that it effects you. Not like one of the other sims.

Yeah, that and delete user isn't sending emails... Must check up on that.

There are some issues with the auto-bankrupt script. I would prefer no one touch it in the near future, at least until Will or Stephen get it fixed ( :wink: @ fellow admins).

I will see to bankrupting / deleting those negative / inactive accounts manually.

To say you got rid of a lot of airlines this evening is an understatement! Or were they mainly big, inactive airlines?

I manually triggered the return of gates which were clogged up in the stupidly bugged autogate return (which i believe i fixed), which are the result of a few hundred deleted accounts over the week or so prior to running the little queries. Expect a few more gates to be released at the month change if i truely fixed it (as i believe i have this time). Something in the way (at present projections) of several hundred gates. My projections put it at around 1800 gates at the moment, but of course. there's plenty of time between now and the month change, and my projections may be off by a little bit regardless.
