Title: Staff Positions Available: Membership Admins

Position: Airline Mogul Membership Officer
Brief duties & requirements: To manage the user base of Airline Mogul and moderate the forums where appropriate.
Payment: No financial reward.
Requirements:

• Aged 18 years or older (This may be asked to be confirmed)
• Have a good knowledge of Airline Mogul, its recent developments and knowledge of atleast the last round (More experience = more informed decisions)
• Strong interest in aviation & Airline Mogul
• Minimum time availablility of 10-12 hours per week. (High work load at times)
• Anyone with examinations for school/college (State/final exams) are encouraged not to apply.
  
• Have a good form of communications.
• Act in a professional and personable manner.
• Act in a responsible manner with regard to duties and any tasks/privelages set on them.
• Basic knowledge of the English language is a requirement. (Does not have to be first language)
• Knowledge of how to use Gmail & GoogleTalk is an advantage.

Detailed Duties

• To manage user accounts
• Help those who cannot register
• Update any information requested
• Clear out inactive accounts
• Investigate mutliple accounts and remove them
• Other membership tasks as required and deligated by staff

Closing Date: Wednesday 17th October 2007 - 12:00z

• Airline ID
• Reason(s) why you want to apply for this post
• Any details you think are relevant

Other: Extra weighting will be made for those that put in significant effort and/or visible aspiration to attain the position. Bonus will also be given to those with Third level education, either current or previous.
There are a total of 3 positions available.

Adding to that, please include you real name, forum nick, and airline name (+id) in the email. Those would help Stephen evaluate you a lot more easily. If he doesn't know who you are, you are out basically.

They are moderators, as in forum moderators, not membership officers. The 3 positions are ... ermm... not taken yet.

^.. it says moderate forums..? Is it possible to be a moderator and this the same time?  :wink:

I did, dont worry  :D .. i follow the rules.. it says we do not need to reply but we still can correct?

btw.. you missed the letter "l" at the end before (dot)com.. but that would increase my chances of becoming one because they sent to the wrong address but would decrease since i told them

There is no need to reply, so you can't anymore. Details on successful applicants will be revealed after the 17th, when we will start reviewing applications.

You will see on the forum a while ago, I created a group called the Moderators. This is what Stephen means by "Moderate where appropriate". These are only the Airline Mogul Mods.

Well put it this way, if you dont email me I wont consider your application. And if you look at the rule it states to moderate the forum where appropriate. Not moderate all the forums. Forum moderators have nothing to do with ingame administration.
