Is there anyway to declare bankruptcy in this game like AE?

Seems it is possible to go subzero, since there are airlines with gates worth well over the 500K they started with, I am personally at -1200 after altering some routes.

If that is OK, how long time do I have to get back in the positives before I am considered bankrupt?

You go bankrupt by having more debt than asset. So, as long as your value or net worth is >0, you should be fine.
