Title: newbie question on leased aircraft

quick question on something I can't figure out.

I'm trying to set up a route. Gates are available and I have a perfectly
good 737 sitting on the tarmac with plenty of hours left.  Still, when I
try to create the route, I can't select the plane.
Route mileage is well within plane's range.

Any thoughts on what I'm missing here?

Check if the plane flies through the start city or the end city.

* Is the start city and/or end city one of your established bases?
* How many hours are left and what is the distance between the cities?
* Does the plane appear on the list? If so, is the Freq = 0?
