Title: Aircrafts sold at a proft but Airline Value not going up???

Hey I got a small problem.

Ive sold a few aircrafts in the last few hours and the profit made on he aircraft does not increase myAirline Value???

Ive waited for the hour and the value only goes up my DOP, does not include profits made on sales??

It only goes to your airline cash. If you want to put it towards your airline value, put the aircraft into service on routes. Rent more gates etc.

value gain should be recognized immediately off of a profitable sale.

I've been selling heavily over the past 2 weeks, and haven't noticed much value increase apart from the increase from DOP.

value increase is based on cash vs book; maximum price is based on cash vs fair market value.

so it can be weird sometimes, or trivially small.  when a plane is listed for sale, it stops depreciating by book until it is returned to service or sold

I have a question related to this so thought best to ask here rather than start another thread.

Does creating terminals add to the airline value?

It shouldn't. Unless the entire cost of building a terminal is not represented in its value. I didn't do any work on Terminals so Air Elb will confirm.

HA. stephen, how naive you are.

building terminals should positively impact your gate value (which your airline value is based off of).  If gate value isn't updating with terminal construction/addition, let me know so i can fix it.
