Title: can't create a route
Post by: lucky24 on August 23, 2007, 06:58:37 pm
I'm unable to create a route. I can't choose an airplane because of a MySQL mistake. I get the message: Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/airlinem/public_html/airlinemogul/includes/cr_functions.php on line 438

What gives with this??? I am trying to add routes, and it won't even let me launch anything like a PIT-Akron route! Also, I can't view any airport information either. It gives me a similar message where the airline names, gates used and flight info should be...

Just taking this thread as the title corresponds to the problem I have. ;)
I wanted to set up a route, so I did a basic research:
Quote
Disance for this route: 8,303nm
Planes capable of serving this route:
Quote
Airbus A340-500 Type Name: Range: Speed: Seats: Engines: Airbus A340-500 8,500 485 313 Rolls-Royce Trent 553 Boeing 747-400 Type Name: Range: Speed: Seats: Engines: Boeing 747-400 8,349 567 524 Pratt & Whitney PW-4062 Boeing 747-400ER Type Name: Range: Speed: Seats: Engines: Boeing 747-400ER 8,820 567 524 Pratt & Whitney PW4062 Boeing 777-200ER Type Name: Range: Speed: Seats: Engines: Boeing 777-200ER 8,889 490 440 Pratt & Whitney PW-4090 Boeing 777-300ER Type Name: Range: Speed: Seats: Engines: Boeing 777-300ER 9,119 490 550 General Electric 90-115B
I ordered three A345 to serve this route. BUT I couldn't create it. Is this because it is not my main base I want to set up the route from or is this a bug ?
So long ...

Do you have a base / hub / focus airport at one of the airports in the pair? Do you have a free slot each in both airports?
If you don't have a hub in either of those airports (be it your own focus airport or one of the alliance member's), you would not be able to create the route.

Departure is one of my "own" focus cities and I rent one gate at the destination and still couldn't create this route. Will check this again when I come home today and will give more information.
