Title: A319-100 and A318-100
Post by: Calebrw on September 23, 2012, 04:50:24 am
The A319 and A318 seem to be both with -100 appended, but the old aircraft don't have that added. They don't show as the same aircraft in your View Aircraft page, also, when I went to view the A318-100 page it threw an error:
Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /var/www/airlinemogul/view_aircraft.php on line 273 Subquery returns more than 1 row Previous Page1Next Page
Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /var/www/airlinemogul/view_aircraft.php on line 324
This is in Public World #2335.

I should also add that the three A318-100 don't show in that page.
Also, the 318 took 24 days to build, but the -100 takes 48 days.

There is currently some updating of names going on in the database, so newly ordered planes will have the updates. Old planes are not affected.
The delivery time of 48 days seems more reasonable, the comparable Boeing 737-600 also takes 48 days. But I don't know if the delivery time was also updated...

Shouldn't all planes of one family take the same time to deliver? If I'm not mistaken, the smaller DC-9s and 717s are faster to deliver than an MD-80 or MD-90 from the very same production line?

The game is not perfect. If I remember correctly, the delivery time is calculated by a formula, something with seats, pilots, range, etc. Anyhow, it is not specifically set for each production line and aircraft, but for each aircraft individually.
