Ron,
First and foremost why are you questioning this? the game is a competition. The meaning of that word is that "two or more rivals" this covers the whole game.
The fact I am based at LHR isnt my problem its yours, its called competition more than one airline is based at LHR in real life....

Hmmm interesting message there. I would remind him to either:
- contact the owner of that world to edit his airline;
- just develop routes out of LHR that would be unique for his airline; or
- find another world instead
In every world, there will always be competition: heck, in my current world, there are 5 carriers based in LHR, and I have not received any complaints about why an airline is afraid to compete. I think it would be best for him to remind him that there are other London airports available at his disposal (i.e. LGW, STN, LTN), not just LHR.
