Hi all,
I have (or will have) some surplus aircraft and I was just wondering what people would consider decent leaseing rates on the following a/c:
Boeing
737-200
737-300
757-200
767-200ER
I have just let one 737-300 out on lease for 4m over 12 months which if the lease goes full term will earn me 48m.
any thoughts on this?

You can take the average amount of money the given plane earns you each day and multiply it by 24 to get the monthly income. For a 732 it would be around €7.200.000 (300k monthly), so the lease rate of 4m is not bad.
If you are in a big world, make sure to underbid the competing offers on the market if you want to make sure to lease out your planes.

Well, that 48m isn't profit since you pay for all the costs to keep the aircraft flying. But 4m is a decent lease rate. Rather high, but that's not your problem if you can lease it to someone for that money ;) What 1993matias says makes perfect sense. It depends a little on where an airline is based off course, but 300k a month is a nice average. Maybe you can squeeze a million extra out of the deal with an ATL-based airline :P I wouldn't lease out long haulers though. And if you do, certainly no longer than, say, 2 years.
