Anyone here remember the old UN thread? Well, I've been missing it, and probably some others too, so let's start it again
For new guys, you basically choose a country, and control it. You don't have to obey the deals, etc of the real country, and you can even say you control Vatican and you have 99 Aircraft Carriers... Get the Idea?
I'll use Philippines for this one.

The martian government proposes a reform of the national martian space administration. It will give more funding to the space elevator development.

Mars places 300 magnetic-accelerator-cannons in Mars orbit. Firing 3000 ton projectiles at close to the speed of light, they will knock out any hostile spacecraft that dares attack mars, even before they leave slipspace.
Phobos and Deimos have both been colonised.
A Martian expedition has colonised the Jovian moons. The newly errected Jovian Federal Government wants to establish trade relations and open borders with Jupiter.
