Due to lack of interest, I am closing down. I don't know when I open again. I am sorry.
Well, because so many have decided to make their own livery threads, I have decided to make my own.
I have limited time, and because I put so much work in the livery it will be a limited number of requests I will do. But if you're the lucky one, you won't be disappointed.
The quality of my liveries is always high, as I make my liveries in a photoshop-like program (GIMP). I will save the raw file so I will be able to make changes fast and seamless if requested. I am very versatile in my liveries and I have a great variety of templates - nearly everything.

I would like these changes:
- The titles look a bit out of place. Could you make them a bit smaller and them above the windows.
- Is it possible for you to make the City of Hangzhou in a darker facet? Also, could you include the chinese characters?

You are quite right. I don't really like them there either, I just thought they would seem too small above the windows.

Ok, I like this one but could you take the start out from the O in Europe? Also, use darker shades, this ones are a bit to bright and maybe you can use a more modern font, and paint the winglets with the EU flag. I'm waiting for the non-European one as well.

Thats a special requirement for computers sold in Denmark. We feed our computers with *cabbage* and *vegetable* each day. ;)

How do you make the engine go over the letters?

I erase the letters :P
I use several layers, so the letters are on one layer, and the plane is on another layer. That way I can erase the letters without erasing the plane. Clever, huh? :)

You are certainly better than ba4, but you have along way to go before you beat me. Your liveries still have colours. Planes that are all white are much nicer! White is the new wavy-swoosh!

Yours and hay's are good for special liveries. And special liveries gotta be awesome!
Virgin Serbia, bolli, danio100, Conor's.... are good for modern, 'normal liveries'. The design looks very professional, especially Virgin Serbia's and bolli's.

In my opinion "all white" planes are too conservative, and while I'll say that usually it takes a bit more vision to make a nice looking scheme in color, it usually comes out better than some of the better conservative white liveries..
Matias, I'd have to say that you are one of the better livery makers on the site.. you're doing the shadow work on the bottom of the aircraft and the liveries I've seen so far look pretty good.
EDIT-
I will admit that I think it would have looked better inverted, and maybe do a little more cheatline work or something.. maybe a split wave on the winglet.. :P

I know the alliance logo doesn't look like there's anything there, but at least in GIMP when I import it, it shows the basic shape of the logo.. the five stars..

In my opinion "all white" planes are too conservative, and while I'll say that usually it takes a bit more vision to make a nice looking scheme in color, it usually comes out better than some of the better conservative white liveries..

Aside from Virgin Airlines, which only ranks to me due to its familiarity factor, none of these are actually particularly striking to me. It's actually quite a point to me that in the 2nd picture I liked the 738 in the background more than I liked the one in the foreground.

well once thee livery is done all you need to do is pretty much copy and paste parts of it into the outline of the livery so that it will work in X-Plane, but I think I got it covered so don't worry about it.

Love both of them! If I could ask for a couple of changes..
ATR: Asked around a bit before responding, if you could change the gold and grey around on the belly, and then downsize both of the airline logos.. try to make the engine logo fit on that individual panel, and then I think the placement on the tail logo is right, the whole logo just needs to fit though.. ;)
737: I think the general scheme works, just a couple constructive bits probably. Maybe bring the curve on the gold (Towards the front) down a bit, to where it curves forward to the center of the nosecone, and then bring the grey forward to meet it there. I'm thinking that would complete it pretty well, and maybe to make it official I could send you the GIMP file for the airline logo, since it looks a little bad there.. :P
Good job on the both of them though, good to see that Knighthawk works in white too.. :lol:
