It has been noticed over the past few weeks that this forum feature of reporting posts to moderators is being abused. We are getting emails about very minor issues or unimportant issues that can be dealt with in other ways.
The report post to moderator function should only be used if there is a serious spam post, such as inappropriate content for younger audiences or if a large volume of spam posts appear on the forum.
If you are having a problem with another forum member, want a thread to be locked or other maintenance/minor issue you should either reply directly to that thread or send a private message to an appropriate moderator.
Any forum member found abusing the report to moderator function will face a 3 day ban from the forum.
