Right about now my DOC is 13.6 million I would be ordering 3 of them to use at my BOS, JFK, and ATL bases.

For me, absolute minimum DOC would be 20% of purchase price. Under normal circumstances, it would be 25-35%.

Or if you aren't interested in margins, just buy them when you can afford them ;) Place them on profitable routes until they have paid themselves back, then sell them for 50% of value. Have fun!

Or don't even look at your DOC at all. Just look at your projected totals for the end of the month at the "Finance" tab because you can have a DOC of 100mln and still not making a profit :P But I don't think there has to be a minimum. I just prefer to buy a couple at a time. So I would wait until I can buy like 4-5 of them in 24h.

Yeah, i use the same strategy, except i only buy them when:
a) I have a need for them
b) I can afford 1 every 24 hours
