Click the link to see a current list of aircraft: http://www.airlinemogul.com/airlinemogul/view_all_aircraft.php
Right, I am only adding 20 now. The first 20 will be added today, but that's it until 2005 (and then it'll only be 1940-1960 stuff)
Spots taken: 1. EMB170 Embraer - COMPLETED, 10/8/07 2. EMB175 Embraer 3. EMB190 Embraer 4. EMB195 Embraer 5. Boeing 777-300 - COMPLETED, 9/8/07 6. De Havilland Canada Dash-8-400 7. CRJ 900 series (CRJ701, 705 & 900) 8. Boeing 717-200/MD-95 - COMPLETED, 12/8/07 9. Avro RJX series - COMPLETED, 5/8/07 10. Boeing 777-200LR 11. Boeing 777-300ER 12. Tupolev 204/224/234 13. Boeing 747-400ER/-400D - COMPLETED, 9/8/07 (ER only) 14. Dornier 328 series 15. Fokker 70 (Fooker if you're air elbonia) 16. Dornier 728-100/-200 - COMPLETED, 9/8/07 17. 18. 19. 20.
I'm after the following data though: 1: Name 2: Company I'll do the rest, but after these slots are filled, I won't be adding.

The Airbus A340-500 and 600 first flew in 2002 and the Boeing 777-300ER first flew in 2003 so I don't know if you want to add those yet since its only 2001 in the game. But the De Havilland Canada Dash-8-400 first delivery was in 1999
Airbus A340-500? Airbus A340-600? Boeing 777-300ER? ----- Boeing 777-300 De Havilland Canada Dash-8-400

Some randoms list:
how about the 747-400ER? the 747-400D? even the A340-300X? (if we had cargo, most definately the 747-400M)
the only other thing that i can think of would be the new Dornier 328 Prop family..
While where at it, how about changing the Airbus A330-300LR to the correct name of A330-300X ..
.. I wish we could add in a few oldies  , we should keep aircraft in circulation! (*hint*)
cheers for all the hard work!

How about British Aerospace Jetsream 31/41, Ilyushin IL-114, Tupolev Tu-204 and Tu-334?
(No one is having Tu-334 now in the real world but I 'm not sure if that's matter.)

Well, if you want reliable aircraft data, you'd rather wait for a few airlines to actually have flown it, that will give you much more useful information than the data the manufacturer gives.

I think if A380 can add in the list, Boeing 787 also can. The year gap just about a year. 787 brings high fuel efficiency and low maintenance cost, it will really benefit the owner's airlines. :)

Hey guys, don't waste the valuable slots. The A380's and the B787's will not be available in this round anyway even they are added. Thus, it would be wiser to ask for some planes that are in production at this age. dl can add those others at another time.

It doesn't matter when production starts, the aircraft and their year of entry in Airline Mogul is based on year of entry into service. The A380 is due this year to enter service, so that is ok. The 787 is not due to enter service any time soon, so we wont get it this round.

Sorry, I was confused with the 345.
GE's & RR's won't be added this time, as I have a preference to expand the current list, not adding extra models within the same aircraft.
B787's & A380's will NOT be added. DO NOT BUG ME ABOUT THESE!!! (until a stage where the game goes beyond 2008.)
Helicopters will be added eventually, but with models that have more than 9 seats. At the moment, the game doesn't have the functions to handle cargo or helicopters.

Its made by some Czech company called Let Kunovice.
Today's L-410 Turbolets have 19 seats for the passengers and a crew of 2. Range is a whopping 1,040 kilometers. It probobly would be the cheapest thing on the market if it was in the game!

A380's been mentioned and it would be fruitless to add this go-around (it won't be 'released' until a date after this age ends, after this age ends we're heading back to the 60's).

Looking at that list StephenM posted, I don't see any DC-8's. It would be a shame to have a 1960's game without them!
Some later model 707's would also be nice. Info on various 707 variants: http://www.airlinercafe.com/page.php?id=72
I'm sure some airlines (especially our Aussie friends) would love it if you included the 707-138 (short body/long range version of the 707-120 used by QANTAS) and the 747SP. Their superior range would add a lot to the game.

As I said long ago, the Boeing 377 stratocruiser should be added. It's a great plane. Don't knock it because it migh be a "tad" to big. My word, It was one of the greater planes of its time right next to the DC-3.

Let me go back through this topic:

Why no one talk about the "new" jumbo A380?
(Will it be too new?)
Anyway, Airbus Industrie A380-800
Thanks
I think if A380 can add in the list, Boeing 787 also can. The year gap just about a year. 787 brings high fuel efficiency and low maintenance cost, it will really benefit the owner's airlines. :)
Boeing 787-3, 787-8 , 787-9
Hey guys, don't waste the valuable slots. The A380's and the B787's will not be available in this round anyway even they are added. Thus, it would be wiser to ask for some planes that are in production at this age. dl can add those others at another time.

B787's & A380's will NOT be added. DO NOT BUG ME ABOUT THESE!!! (until a stage where the game goes beyond 2008.)

So, do people get the message? The A380 ain't going to be added!!!

Is it worth buying one, or is it a gas hog that doesn't pay for itself?

Depends on the route and the competition. For routes that don't have competition, it makes money. Other than that, I can't say for sure.
You can't buy the Concorde legally in this round, or the next. As for the round after, chances are the game would have changed too much that no one can predict it.

As mentioned before, we could use the Antonov 24 in the game (Entered service with Aeroflot in 1963 with soviet production ending in 1978.) It was pretty important Soviet built aircraft for it's time too.
-A Beech 99 (1965-1986) -The ERJ-135/140/145 (ERJ 145 production began in 1996, 135s in 1999) -IL-114 (1998-) -the IL-18 (1959?-????)
YES!!! Russian metal ftw!!!
Yup, want all russian aircraft. Large chunk of my fleet is russian iron :) 21 IL-96, 35 AN-74, 9 AN-38 and 10 Tu-154. Would have had more but I haven't been in the game that long :)

That is the list of aircrafts currently in the database. You should see it growing as I have already added nearly 80 new planes / variants. I am far from done and if I got tired, Rick would continue with it.
The list Will refered to is in the admin section. I would not put it here yet because I am too lazy to take away the reference links  . You will see it incorporated into the list above (which mean all planes would be added).

DC-8 will be added, trust me. looking at this list there's probably around 60 aircraft left to add, and me and dktc (and others) seem to keep finding more to add. DC-8 was temporarily skipped, as was the Cessna Citation series, to be returned to later and/or added by rick while dktc recovers from his amazing service. Dktc stopped today at LET's 3 models so he hasn't hit Tu yet.

Wow! I see you added more! Really nice. So many planes I would've never dreamed of seeing in a airline managment sim. You even put down the Tupolevs, kudos to the AM staff again.
Are you guys planning to add any PZLs in the future? Ok, ok, out of technicallity the AN-2 and AN-28 could be concidered PZL products, since PZL did handle production of the majority of the birds (and still produces the 28 as well, but as the M.28 ).
Some more planes that I think could use concideration in the future: Martin 4-0-4 Martin 2-0-2 Antonov 10 Boeing 747SP, 747SR, 747 Domestic Sukhoi S-80 Since I see some pre-1960 discontinuation dates, I guess the game might go even farther back now, so: Ford Tri-motor Fokker FVII/1M and Fokker FVII/3M PWS-24 Junkers F-13

Fun factoids.
At present there are 354 distinct aircraft models (419 including engine variants).
There are 58 total manufacturers.
Dktc has added over 180 aircraft in the past 48 hours.
oh and we have fuel data from 1949 onward.
IF you want to see a specific plane in game, please help us out by providing and/or meeting the following (as best you can):
reasonably thorough data for the aircraft (a link, wikipedia will suffice). Minimum 9 seats (some exceptions may be made for 8 seaters, no garauntees). Some model has to physically have been produced (even if it didn't sell well, or at all), no pure theoretical planes. No flying boats, (presently) no helicopters. Preferably entering service by 2007, (we know about the a380, 787, china's ARJ, India's NAL Saras, several others. they provide little value at present to add, and/or don't have physical models produced yet).

oh, while looking at some of the new acf, i notice the King Air C90GT is listed as having 11 seats....i work line service at the local airport and we have a C90....at most you can seat 6 pax (with one sitting on the toilet), 11 is a physical imposibility unless 5 are sitting on the other's laps ;) lol...it is not that big of a plane, even without the 'luxury seats', the cabin is just not big enough for 11 people....and if you did manage to cram 11 in, they would not be able to take anything with them...
