Title: CanAirways! PW#1850
Post by: Mastafa on March 12, 2011, 10:47:46 pm
The new airline in that world! We are the top airline in Canada with 55 routes out of Toronto and 5 out of Halifax. Our airline is to grow larger as a Boeing 737 operater and major user of Bombardier and DeHavilland Canada aircraft, with 16 Dash 8-100s and 2 on order. Currently it is 1988 in that world, in the future, we plan to use many Dash 8-400s and CRJ-200ERs, along with additional CRJ-705LRs. But for now, our airline remains small on the list, but we are a larger airline than we appear:
We may have a large fleet, and many gates, but we have a low airline value. However our high frequency flights are common with just about every route with over frequency 1.

In our alliance, founded by Northwest Airlines, it is named North Star. We have no current alliance routes.

We start our operations to replace 737-200 adv. HGWs with 737-300s. So in that case, we are selling our 737-200 Advanced HGWs for 50% of the value!
We currently have 3 732s for sale and 4 still in service, waiting to be replaced by more 733s. Soon enough next week, 732s won't exist in our fleet and 737-300s will be serving domestic services.

We are proud to announce that we are the 3rd largest airline to have a 100% loadfactor! We check our loadfactor often every 2-3 days, sometimes daily to make sure we have no routes under 100% loadfactor.
We also announce that our airline, CanAirways, is the largest airline in Canada, with (as of 17 Nov 1990/real time 10 April 2011) 24,064 daily passengers, 8,783,360 passengers per year. We are one of the largest airlines to serve domestic and regional routes, and 2nd place in Canada for all regional routes behind major Canadian regional carrier Griffin Airways International. We are now the 10th largest airline by value, 10th largest by daily passengers, 3rd largest by load factor, and 5th largest by fleet size.
We also have expanded our focus city at Halifax International YHZ and service 21 high frequency flights with 737s, Dash 8s, and Beech 1900s.
We have a new focus city at another airport, YTZ, Billy Bishop Toronto City Centre Airport, a few km from our busiest hub, Toronto Pearson International YYZ. We have 14 ultra high frequency flights in Dash 8s and 1 737 which will go on another route in Halifax. The minimum frequency for YTZ routes is 1.5 daily services. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ >Airline Data< Airline Value: €1,786,825,409 Activity: Active Base Continent: North America Alliance: North Star Total Routes: 103 Total Destinations: 73 Daily Passengers: 24,064 Longest Route: 23 hours Most Fuel Used: 17,287 gallons ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- News and Statistics for; Game date: 17-18 November 1990, real date is April 10th 2011

Happy mini New Year to operators of PW 1850!
It's January 1991 as the game date, we have over 26,000 passengers boarding our planes daily, and we have built a 5-gate terminal at YYZ. Now we have a total of 20 gates at YYZ, 80% utilised. We have ordered 4 of the new Beech 1900D aircraft to fly longer routes to the southern US and islands of Central America. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Date: April 12 2011 PW 1850 Date: 20 Jan 1991

We have returned rented gates in return to extend our terminal now with 8 gates at our terminal, we should return more gates later this year and soon have a 20-gate terminal, about 8/20 with jetaways for our 737s.
We have also opened a new 2x daily route from YYZ to Mexico City, and other major flights we opened are to Las Vegas and Phoenix Sky Harbour Int'l also both a 2x freq. There are a few new regional routes out of YTZ. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 13 2011 GAME DATE ; Feb 21 1991

We have now an 11 gate terminal at YYZ. We have ordered many Beech 1900Ds to replace our 1900Cs. We also plan to start early long haul operations with the 767-300ER. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 14 2011 // March 20 1991

If you have a 767-300ER, your next replacement is a A330-300.

Post by: Mastafa on April 19, 2011, 01:48:34 am
Correct! But we would continue to keep a few for smaller routes like YYZ-ARN The A330-300 will serve us for 5 AM years and will compete with the 777-300 series and A340-600 replacing it on more profitable routes to airports with over 33,000,000 annual passengers

Our 767-300ER has arrived. It now operates freq. 1 daily service from Toronto YYZ to Stockholm-Arlanda ARN giving a little over $100,000 profit. Further 767 orders will resume next year, in the mean time we will expand domestic routes out of YYZ and YHZ.
By next year, our 767s will fly from YYZ to Stockholm Arlanda, London Gatwick, Manchester (UK), Düsseldorf, and Hamburg. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 18 2011 // Game Date: 20 Jul 1991

A 777-200LR and A340-500 are the best for Very Long Routes (VLR)

Today, we will purchase a used 747-200 from Liberty Airlines at a reasonable price ($186 million) and will serve only for a year or 2 on a route between Toronto YYZ and Paris CDG.

:P We make too little profit,so we might put all of our aircraft on sale and we should have over $1B because right now we have $900M, which is good enough to start over.

Why not grow from short haul to long haul? that will be way better in the long run
