Title: Who pays maintenance fees when leasing?

That's why it can be a good idea to lease the big planes, so you don't have to pay the maintenance; which normally is high on those big ones.

And the same reason why you should avoid leasing out your plane for more than four years at a time.

Maintenance is paid by the airline leasing out, how about the staff? Are only the pilots paid for by the lessor in AM or the whole crew or none?

Post by: dktc on May 08, 2011, 09:17:10 am: Salary is paid by operator of the aircraft, not the owner (well... unless you own and operate it, but we are talking about leasing here).
