Title: Aircraft Build Times
Post by: jghastings on October 23, 2010, 12:54:23 pm
Not sure if this is a bug or not, but I thought that the build time of an aircraft was linked to its size (and maybe value?). However, the Vickers Viscount Srs 810, with 70 seats and €17M price tag, seems to be taking 48 days to build, compared to the larger, faster and more expensive SE 210 Caravelle VI-R (80 seats, €29M) at just 24 days.

The Viscount may have three crew and I'm sure its got 4 engines? Which would increase the build time.

Ah, I didn't realise the build time went to that level of complexity... ;) Same number of crew, but must be the engines thing.
Fundamentally regretting buying the damn things now - slower, longer to build, and smaller capacity. This is what comes of drunk-AMing...
