Title: Help! Too much money! How to spend it?

I have around 1.8 billion in cash, and i'm making money faster than i have time to expand. I also retire and sell of aircraft once they have been paid off. Any ideas for what i could do next?

Maybe buy a380s and concordes and fly them in average ranked routes!  :-\  ;) :lol: that will make your maintenance go flying up with 9 trillion kilos of thrust into space and you will start losin' money! :D :lol: :P :P :P

Use them as you want. You don't have to spend. You could make your airline as you've always wanted (e.g. only fly A320's).

Ok, i just ordered 10 757-200s to start replacing the A320-200s.

Ironically, only Chuck Norris can operate a 747  and have profits after maint. costs :lol:

Wouldn't that be overkill? You can do what you want with that money, if it's buying 1000 small Cessna's or a 747, it's up to you.

I'm sure upgrading to larger jets would be better, but not 250+ seats aircraft.

Well, there are high-value planes that are greater than 250 pax but less than 300. Case in point: the 767-200ER. It has great range and fits just under the upper limit at 290 pax.

Yes, but i don't like British airliners. For now i've decided on more widebodies and 757s, and possibly a few Tu-144s :P.

1. It's fast.
2. It gives prestige.

Duwn-sides:
1. It is VERY expensive - more than the 767-200
2. It uses a helluva lot of fuel.
3. It hasn't that many seats.
4. Tupolev 144 is better (cheaper, longer range, less fuel consumption, more variants to choose from).

But prestige doesn't really matter in this game. It's a purely abstract concept.

I actually have around 3.5 billion now, so i can easily afford to keep a few -144s in service. I can even seel them to some less experienced airlines once htey have paid themselves off ;)

I got bored, so i closed all routes and placed the aircraft on sale for -50%. I also started a new world, Private World #1695. Join if you want, still plenty of space.
