Title: cannot close route
Post by: Nipoel123 on September 16, 2010, 01:12:07 pm
I just opened a base at Minneapolis/St Paul, and I wanted to move an aircraft flying alliance routes to Gary/Chicago, Manchester-Boston, and Cleveland-Burke from JFK, but when I tried to, i got the following message:

Route closure not allowed.
Existing route is the only connection between two or more other routes flown by this plane.

There's still another aircraft flying between AMS and JFK, so I have no idea what this means. I've also let another plane fly from MSP to Gary, Manchester and Burke. Can anyone help me????????

Can you give us the Aircraft ID, your User ID and the World Number? We can take a closer look then.

Thanks

uid 44149, PW1662, aircraft 241, routes 1088, 1089, 2754

Issue though is that the aircraft is based out of AMS, and there is no route linking from AMS to JFK. Therefore, the logic should not have allowed the creation of the routes. Even if you could the JFK routes, you should not be able to use the plane for MSP.

The Il first flew AMS-JFK, I than added the routes mentioned, and later replaced the Il with a 752.
