Title: what ever happened to....?

A couple maybe a few yrs ago there was an option when researching a route to purchase the ac that could go the distance on the same page. Is that now a premium option or did it go away? I found it quite helpful in being I didnt have to flip back and forth in windows.

It's out on the right, it says Buy.

I know where to buy the plane. But a long time ago there was an option to buy a plane on the research route page.

No, when you have the list of planes you can buy, it says Buy on the left:

hmm... I don't recall a buy button in the research route page although I seldom use it. And no, it is not a premium feature, I just checked.

1993matias, the page you mentioned is aircraft search.

You're going to have to update your airline name to just MCL Airways. ;)
