Title: America World Airlines Announces New Service!
Post by: LIBERTYAIRLINESCEO on August 30, 2010, 03:19:41 am
New York, NY-America World Airlines has shuffled its schedule around just a bit as we maintain our stronghold between our two hubs in New York and St. Louis.  America World Airlines added a second daily flight on the Airbus A320 complimenting its daily flight on the Fokker 100.  However, due to scheduling constraints, we had to suspend service to Kansas City.  St. Louis did, however have a net gain in air service.
America World Airlines launched new service to New York-LaGuardia and Islip, NY today as well as Gulfport/Biloxi, MS.
In addition, we complimented our New York-San Francisco service with new St. Louis-San Francisco service.  Despite our Kansas City Suspension, America World Airlines still had a net gain of four new routes!  Kansas City service is not permanently suspended.  America World Airlines intends to resume service from New York upon delivery of more airplanes.

JFK-STL: £150
+STL-OKC: £250
________________

Your Total Air Fare: £200 round trip from New York (JFK) to Oklahoma City (OKC).

Title: America World Airlines Named Daytona Beach's Airline of the Year!
Post by: LIBERTYAIRLINESCEO on September 09, 2010, 04:08:42 pm
Daytona Beach, FL-America World Airlines, the largest carrier at Daytona Beach International Airport in Daytona Beach, FL has been named airline of the year today.  America World Airlines launched its first daily flight to Daytona Beach on May 19, 1995 from New York-Kennedy Airport.  As the airline continued its growth in the Airline Industry, daily service to St. Louis was added as America World Airlines built its hub.  As America World Airlines opened its hub in Salt Lake City, rumors were hot in Daytona Beach as to whether or not the airline would add nonstop service to Salt Lake City.  The rumors proved true as America World Airlines quickly rose to new heights in Daytona Beach with such a large percentage of the market.  That number grew higher as service to the new Norfolk Hub began as well as San Juan, being our only non hub city in the Continental United States with nonstop access to San Juan.
America World Airlines proudly provides daily nonstop service from Daytona Beach to all five of its hubs.  However, America World Airlines could not keep its fares low without its friendly competitors whose planes also land in Daytona Beach.
New Alliance Partner Japan Airlines provides a daily nonstop flight to Atlanta, Georgia while friendly competitor XL Airways links the Worlds Most Famous Beach with the Happiest Place on Earth with one daily flight (Daytona Beach-Orlando).  America World Airlines operates from gate 3 in Daytona Beach's Airline Terminal.
"On behalf of our Daytona Beach Staff and the rest of America World Airlines, I want to thank Daytona Beach International Airport and all the Volusia County Staff for taking the time to recognize our airline.  We remain committed to Daytona Beach, and that is not subject to change.  I also want to thank the community for welcoming us with open arms.  We all look forward to serving you." says CEO Evan K who flew to Daytona Beach from his home in New York (Via Kennedy Airport of course) to celebrate with the America World Airlines staff in Daytona Beach who keep the operations running smoothly.

Says CEO Evan K.

New York, NY; Oakland, CA; Daytona Beach, FL-America World Airlines has issued a statement in response to Virgin America's New Service in Daytona Beach, FL:
"We welcome Virgin America to Daytona Beach International Airport!  It was per our recommendation that they begin flying to the area.  Since XL left Daytona Beach last year, the airport was seeing an increase in costs that were being relayed to the two airlines using the airport.  America World Airlines recommended adding service between Chicago and Daytona Beach and is pleased to see expanded service from Denver and Detroit as well!  Virgin America is a great alliance partner and we hope to continue doing great business with them.  Our interline agreement does extend into Daytona Beach as well so in the event of any delays or cancellations our America World Airlines Customer Service Team in Daytona Beach will be happy to rebook you with Virgin America.  In the event of a cancellation with Virgin America, their Daytona Beach Customer Service Team will be just as happy to rebook you with America World Airlines." says CEO Evan K.

Title: Higher Operating Costs Force America World Airline to Raise Air Fares
Post by: LIBERTYAIRLINESCEO on October 24, 2010, 09:11:56 pm
New York, NY-Higher operating costs in today's post-9/11 economy have caused America World Airlines to increase air fares on some routes by up to £60 round trip.  Following the attacks of September 11, 2001 on our home town of New York, America World Airlines has taken a huge hit at our hometown hub at Kennedy Airport in New York.  Unfortunately the airline was forced to increase air fares.  We hope that the economy will stabilize soon and we will be able to offer lower fares again.

New York, NY-America World Airlines has added new daily nonstop service from its hub in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Madrid's Barajas International Airport in Spain.  The aircraft is a Boeing 767-300ER that was previously used on our former Tokyo Haneda-Sydney Route.  "We felt that with Sydney being served from Honolulu, we would be able to better utilize the airplane on a more profitable route," says the Director of Route Planning for America World Airlines.  With the airline in a bit of a poor financial situation, the airplanes in service need to make more money to generate a profit and put us back in the black.
