Post by: longtin23 on June 30, 2010, 03:48:51 pm
I want to ask whether I should buy Fokker 100 Airbus 319 or Boeing 717-200BGW
I need them to be put on route which goes to gate costed 150,000 and 200,000 Which one is more profitable?
I am based in Hong Kong

F100 or B717
Futhermore, it's recommended that your DOC should be at least 12-15M before purchasing these aircraft (higher for the A319).

Why? I planned to get a A321 with only 1.4m But I have a Bank Balance which can afford it.

With a DOC of only 1.4M, and an aircraft as expensive as an A321, your bank balance will disappear rather quickly.

Leasing is good, but don't get sucked into it like I did my first world. I kept leasing and leasing and didn't own a single plane.
As for your question, I recently purchased 10 F100's for use on my "good" ranked routes, and they are doing quite well. I choose them because I thought the A319 had a bit too many seats for the "good" routes, plus they were 10M cheaper.

I use regional aircraft for routes to gate prices of 150000/200000, usually ATR 42. Airline Mogul - See my airline (http://www.airlinemogul.com/airlinemogul/show_airline.php?id=42462&wid=1279) Use jet planes on 'Very Good' demand routes. If you want to experiment go to a private world(go to private world section) or join a public world while its new. Avro RJX-70 carries only 82 pax, yet cheap, and fuel efficient(584 fuel usage) Higher-end embraer aircraft is also good, its 38-40m but its extremely fuel-efficient(~500) :-*
