Title: Closing A Focus Base

Current world year: 1956
Current bases: SLC, DFW, IND, BOS, MIA, SJC
DOC: 11, 042, 072

I am trying to close my base at Norman Mineta San Jose International.  I have closed all routes and released all the gates that it will allow me to release.   It still shows up as a focus city and I am not sure what to do next.

I'm pretty sure the month has to roll over then the base will be dropped. Have you waited for this?

Actually, I think I'm wrong. The Wiki knows like normal.

If you want to close a base, you will first have to close out all routes flown out of that base. The easiest way to accomplish that is under the View Routes page, selecting the base you want to close under the Show Routes From: drop-down menu, selecting all routes by click on each checkbox, then clicking on the Close Routes  button.

Once that has been done, you can find the Close Base button on the View Gates or Rent Gates page.

Not sure what the problem was but when I tried for you there, it closed.
