Title: Replacing aircraft question
Post by: fs_fan27 on September 22, 2009, 11:47:03 am
Hi

I'm new to this so forgive me if this has been covered. But I've got some leased aircraft in and I've just bought a Dash8. How do I assign the Dash8 to the route which is currently used by the leased aircraft so it can replace it?

many thanks

Close the original route, and at the end you get the option to recreate it.  Choose the recreate option and it goes back to the opening route setup.

Yes, as pain staking as it can be sometimes to close each route and re-create it that is the best way to do it now.  Hotswap is on our to-do list however it is not out yet.

and at the rate we're going, never

I remember the time it was said by stephen it will be launched in 2-3 months. That was said during the summer 2 years ago

Yes I know progress is slow, and it's been a while since we have released a new feature, but I promise you we are working on it.
