Title: Who's running budget airlines here?

I was just curious if anyone else who plays AM runs his/her company like a low-cost airline....

There is no "low-cost" airlines in AM. Only "low-price" airlines exist. The costs are not in your control :P

Oh... :lol: But i always think i'm the budget airline because in all my routes i have the lowest fares.... :)

a low fare airline, isn't the same as a low cost airline.

And once you create a 'low-cost route', you make other airlines make prices go as low as your prices are...
Low costs = Chaos :D

Hehehe...I'm actually planning to do a $1 long-haul route....Just so i can try what it's like to make the competition their prices... :lol:

Unless you have 3-4 747s on that route charging €1, your competitors will still be able to charge much more.

I think runing low fair airlines is better then high fair
I do it in almost every world I'm not #1 ranked but I STOL make money
The higest fAir i've had was probaly €670 on a route from iad-agh with an A330-200
