Title: hubs?

im new here, n hav a Q.
b4 i played a german game similar to this n there we could create routes from ny airport to ny airport as long as the dep airport was in the country whre my hub was.
so is that a real rule practised but not in airline mogul, or is it a rule only used in the german game?

Its more of a German game rule. As far as I am aware, any EU Carrier may setup a route from any airport within the EU without any restrictions. A similar structure is available in the US, and its called Openskies. In AM we limit airlines to starting routes from bases in order to prevent large carriers becoming overly dominant.
