Title: Data Bug? - Huntsville International Airport [HSV]
Post by: jghastings on May 03, 2009, 02:03:54 pm
Hi,

I hope I'm putting this in the right part of the forum.

I was just scanning the North America gates in order of passengers, and was rather surprised to find somewhere called Huntsville International sitting between Calgary and Kansas City in the list, with 12,214,410 passengers.  Having never heard of this place I did a quick Google search and found it to be a relatively small airport (in terms of usage, rather than geographical size) in Alabama.  However, I think there may be a bug in the data (perhaps one two many "2" digits) as according to the airport's own website only 1,254,745 passengers passed through during 2008:

Thanks,
JG
