It depends on the the particular contract...

D alludes to these agreements..  A dry lease is one where the lessor provides a plane and the lessee has all the responsbiilties of the aircraft.  A wet lease is one where the lessor provides a plane completely ready to go, including crew.  They also assume the other costs associated with the aircraft.  The lessee pays the contracted rate.  A so-called damp lease provides for an agreement with somewhere in the middle...

Technically all leases in AM are damp leases.  The aircraft owner provides the aircraft and pays maintenence on it.  The lessee pays all flight costs and crew expenses on the aircraft...

The original OP asked to have the topic reopened.  After carefully looking at the subject and posts, we decided to reopen it minus the stupid inflamatory comments by more than one poster.  As long as the topic remains on topic and doesn't degenerate in to blatant stupidity AGAIN it will remain...

Mine was US based airline that went bankrupt. The company doesn't exist anymore.

You actually mean trade/service mark issues, and I'm betting that NWA (dba Compass) still owns the Indy Air marks, so they would be the ones to make a claim. (And of course the new DL will eventually own the marks)

I'm just sayin'  

Probably not....

Reason number one... during bankruptcy proceedings NWA(Compass) only purchased the AOC, not anything else.  Realistically nothing else held much value.

Reason number two....  whoever really does own the trademark will have a REALLY hard time proving that he is damaging their asset by using for a fake airline on a fake airline game...

Frontier have now filed a chapter 11

Chapter 11 is a LONG way from a shutdown or Chapter 7.

The folks who own those very nice Airbii aren't going to be happy though...

But I believe Hampo was one of the two that got it right.... right now..  Pax, sexy but not good, Cargo decidedly not sexy, but a great place to be...  (Okay for airline dorks, cargo is sexy also)

There are two Skyway Beeches sitting at the Beechcraft/Raytheon Maintence Hanger at RFD....  Its kinda ironic that just a year ago there were four ex Fly-I CRJ's sitting on the other side of th airport from these...  The CRJ's went to OO and now operate as YX*

KPWK,KGBG  both GA only airports, both in the Dbase with no real confirmable numbers..  Heck, KGBG isn't even Part 139 certified.  Its can't even have commerical flights....

Where you have found the MD80 and the DC3 templates?

A member of United Sky Group at the time had them(it might have been Kentip, but I dont remember).  And did the fantastic job you see here.  There were also DC-6 and Convair 240 ones also done for us.  I do not have this kind of ability....
