I'm not very sure, but it seemed that a more unified fleet will have fewer maintainence cost and staff cost?
If yes, what is unified?
Is DC-8-61=DC-8-63=DC-8-62(Different version of DC-8 )?

Having a single aircraft type in your airline will not reduce your maint costs

If my fleet is simply consist of DC-8, but different versions od DC-8.
e.g. 11  DC-8-61
       10  DC-8-62
       8   DC-8-55,etc

Will that costing me less maint cost?

Not currently, the formulas are based off the entire fleet size and does not look into the specifics.
