Hey,
East West and I have decided to partner as Global United Air and Global United Express. We have decided to change our starting base from SFO to IAH because of location issues. I will form the legacy carrier as East West forms the regional carrier. Together, we hope to be one of the best legacy/regional partnerships AM has ever seen.

I'm going to be Atlantic Air and will be a regional northeast airline out of boston and La Guardia. I'm looking for a mainline carrier or carriers to contract with to serve small northeast airports.

@Airbus Guy 350... Looks like I will be switching over to BOS/LGA for my hubs!!! I will join as Nor'easter based in BOS/LGA wherever you choose. We can work out some sort of arrangment, but my idea was that I'd run the stuff to airports with >750,000 pax and you the rest?

Sounds great bindu! You should operate out of JFK too so you can do mainline. I don't know how realistic we want to get with this world but La Guardia has a 1,500nm max distance on flights in and out except on Saturdays and for a denver flight that was operating before the rule was put in place.

Can we get a list of participating airlines? That would be nice, because it's hard to keep track on so many airline names :P

Yeah, we can get a list. I'll put it in the main post and keep up with it as more airlines announce their intent to join.

@ Airbus Guy 350 . Let's start at LGA where I'll restrict myself to 1500nm or less routes. Let's also do hubs @ JFK, BOS, PHL, IAD and DCA?

OK so I think I've worked out a system....

The year is 2003, so at the start the mainline a/c is going to be A319s. Why don't we start at opposite bases, IE: me at JFK and you at LGA, with A319s running mainline. Once you earn enough cash to purchase 5x Embraer ERJ 145XRs (110 million Euros) of any variant, shutter the LGA base and sell me the A319s, as well as shift over to JFK. We'll go from there. The way I'm looking to operate is A319s, A321s, and then eventually A332, and A342 mainline, which you can help out with as you'll have more cash. I'll operate to 750k+ airports and you to all of those below that threshold. On the a/c side, lets stick to E145s @ JFK, MCO, and CLT, and E140s @ LGA, BOS, and IAD. For routes of distance > 1000nm, use E170s for realism sakes. Frequency wise, airports with <500k pax, use 2x, 500k-750k 3x. For me, it'll be 2x to <10,000,000, 3x to <30,000,000, 2x A321 for airports >30,000,000

Hey, you actually have me and gopats1479 switched. He is Global United Airlines and I amd Global United Express. Both based out of IAH.

If you could switch us on the list that would be awesome!

Thanks!
