American Airways System is the Private World #2092's largest airline by number of destinations, passengers carried and fleet size. Founded on 1 January 1947, American Airways System currently flies to 40 destinations in the United States, Mexico, Haiti, the Bahamas, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and Cuba. As America's major carrier, American AS carried out the first international flight in the history of the United States, between Miami and La Havana in Cuba. The airline's base is Miami International Airport.
The airline's fleet consists of 3 Douglas DC-6 and 10 Douglas DC-3, with another 5 on order. American Airways System will soon be opening a secondary hub at New York's JFK International Airport to cater to the needs of air travel in the northern States and Canada. We also hope to launch flights to Europe within the year.
