Title: I just installed FSX!
Post by: Seattle on November 28, 2008, 04:56:54 pm
I finally installed FSX in my labtop,(after a year of having it ^-^).
Firstly, my moms/my computer is to old and stupid
secondly, my dads labtop is a work computer so no their....
but.... my labtop which had 13/15 gigabites of space left did not have enough room for FSX! :'(
So I deleted aton of crap and games and.... voila! I have FSX. 8) :D
Any advice for me? I tried the A321 and managed to fly Algiers to some Spanish coastal city... and I actually got to touch down on the runway..... before vearing off and then on again..... Luckily since I was litterally stalling from such a low speed when I landed, I managed to exit the runway at the first taxiway! I think that is amazing for someone who hasnt played FS9 since Summer of 2007 and I have never learned how to properly land :P - Anyway, that was fun! :D
Any good sites to go to get whats it called? AI Traffic? aghhh.. I have forgoten much, so please help. 8)

Can you use a program like Wine and run it?

But I can't afford both. There's no point in having a joystick without a fligthsim to use it on! :P
Try flightgear (flightgear.org). Its the only reason I got into planes and sims! At first I thought it was boring, but with a realistic sim, its not.

That's like having a car but saying you can't afford petrol. Why bother having one then? You're better off to save up and buy some petrol to go into the car, it makes driving a lot more enjoyable ;)
