uhm.  at a bare minimum to fulfil the idea i'd need an airline id.

likely, you can do it yourself pretty easily with the close all routes feature on the aircraft info page (large fleets would still take a while, but it's not much faster for us admins to do it properly).

I think admin can help you.As you know once the aircraft leased to the others then you can only wait for them return or you don't even have this chance. lol

Right.Actually I also want to suggest that admin can add a function that we can get back the aircraft which least to the others.

For next age, Aircraft on lease will automatically be returned upon completion of the contract.

Also, 0 month leases will likely be removed entirely.  For this age, sorry. it's not practical to input it in the middle of an age, especially with rampant 0 month leases.

So will you reset the planes man? :)

Technically, i think stephen is the perfect candidate to test his new admin bankrupt airline feature.

I beg your pardon.

Sorry. stephen put together a bankrupt airline feature for admin use only at present.

Likely, in the short to moderate future, we'll implement a public bankruptcy feature (with some sort of restraints on frequency of use), which will scrap planes, close routes, return gates... yadda.

Alliances, loadfactor formulae, other things have had our attention though.  No garauntees as to what order things will go in, specifically.

My next thing is attack gate_search again, hopefully this time make it 500 error free.

The bankrupt airline script needs to be debugged, its a pretty major script and a lot of things can go wrong so thats why it so slow to come out. We need a few accounts to test it on. Any takers?

Just a suggestion for the leasing feature in the future:

Would it not be better to implement 0 months again and a possible button for the person who makes the planes available? I mean for instance I lease the plane for 5 months but after 5 months I don't want to cancel that contract. It still can be running with the airline who leased it. In most cases you want your plane back and then you can use the return button. Otherwise it just remains with the company. I hope you understand my point.

Regards.

You get to start fresh :P and once again prove yourself :P and compete with large airlines with a fraction of their networth :P

@mbkiller, I feel the same as you do, which is why the same thing (with similar solution) has be suggested. Still waiting on an answer form the admins though.
