Post by: norge on September 26, 2014, 07:39:31 pm: Hello! I'm Norge and I'm here to provide you with some logos for your airline! With my basic Illustrator and Photoshop skills, I will try to make a logo that meet your requirements, and if you're not happy, simply tell me what you want changed! I won't stop until you're satisfied with the product.

A link to your airline is not necessary, but feel free to do so! If needed, I can also make logos with non-Latin writing, but please include the text you want in the logo in the description as I have no knowledge of any language using these writing systems.

Country - Scandinavia (I tend to be based in most Scandinavian countries)
Colors - Dark blue, white and perhaps a tiny bit of gold, if you have something I am up for it.
Extra Information - I am looking for a modern logo, the gold part is only if you can find a subtile place for it, the main colors are dark blue and white.

Could you do something special with the N, in the sense that the N would be the tail logo on the aircrafts.

Generally I would like the font to be more roundish, if you get it, this is a rather "sharp" font.
If you could make the N to underline the rest of the text, that would be nice.

And last, I think we need to head in a new direction, I cannot unsee Ryanair in the logo, sorry :(

Light grey background to showcase the white dots. As always, just ask if you want something changed.

Post by: norge on October 20, 2014, 06:32:40 pm: StanJet (version 1) - It was hard coming up with something that could represent all the countries, but I decided to use an ornamental pattern since Kazakh and Turkmen use one in their flag (but the one I used probably has no relation to the area), and used green since they're all more or less muslim countries. Also tried out opacity a bit, so tell me what you think! :D

And a version with Cyrillic writing would be cool too :D It's just CTAHET instead of STANJET, if I'm not mistaken :D

As for the logo, it's just what I was looking for. If you want more work, you can extend the pattern to fit a circle instead of a square, but don't bother if it means hours of drawing :)

Logo Description- Thinking something with the heaven since Tian means heaven as long as it is red and white, but I know you are awesome

Country- Saudi Arabia
Colors- Dark green and white (Saudi Arabian flag) but some gold would be nice too, you know I love gold :)
Airline Description- Airline based in Jeddah but operating all across the Middle East
Logo Description- Entirely up to you, I am completely lost on this one.

Pacific Aero is a well established airline in my world, having operated from 1945 to 1990 with the below logo:

However, I was hoping to modernize our airline logo somewhat, as we are approaching the XXIst Century.

Airline Name - Pacific Aero
Country - HQ is in Vienna (Austria), but the airline operates extensively on nearly every continent.
Colors - Navy Blue & White (could add discreet silver, perhaps?)
Alternate Colors - Could consider changing colors to a dark red (type Burgundy) & white, for a radical airline logo change (red & white being the colors of Austria)
Airline Description - Pacific Aero prides itself in high levels of inflight services, stringent safety standards, and extensive worldwide route network, both regional and intercontinental. We operate small twinprops up to massive jumbo jets.
Logo Description - "Flying you there in safety, comfort & style"

The logo should be more modern than the existing one, yet still retain a certain class & prestige to it.

Didn't include any white, as I finally figured out how to do transparent backgrounds (took me long enough) and think I've fixed the small versions of the logos. As always, just ask for any changes!

Traced the original logo and made some minor adjustments on the upper wings. The whole thing might have come out a bit too silvery, as I used silver for the three wings beneath and the 'Aero'.

I like keeping the wings the way you outlined them. However I’m less of a fan of how the silver turns out, as it looks rather grey than silver.

Perhaps we should just stick to the blue color for the wings, but have each layer a different shade of blue, from say dark to pale.

The slogan should be a bit more marked so it can be easily read, and the font of PACIFIC AERO should be modern yet sober.

Do you think you could attempt a version #2 taking the above into account?

The slogan was unitalicized, and made a bit bigger to improve readability. If you want something changed, please ask! :D I'll make a burgundy version once we're set on a standard version of the logo.

Airline Description - Airline based out of Atlanta that is working towards flying to every single airport in the US, Canada and Mexico that has over 100,000 passengers.
Logo Description - I'm not too sure what I want, I am fine with something based on the current logo.

Im not too sure if I have any suggestions XD, I think its pretty good and its much better than anything I could come up with. But if you have anything better or any changes I will be interested!

Sorry, I don't do liveries at the moment. I might try sometime in the future, but for now I'll create logos. If you want liveries you could try this thread by skh0627 (http://stephenm.org/smfforum/index.php?topic=11554.0), it seems to be kinda semi-active. I have some other concepts for your airline and I will try to make some this week. :D

Colors - Colors of the UAE flag, but could also be grey and gold as Etihad,
Airline Description - Major airline operating out of AUH, AAN, RKT and SHJ, with long haul operations from AUH, SHJ and to an extent AAN, RKT is pure regional flights. Flights are operated all over the world. Our slogan is "The World is yours"
Logo Description - Etihad style theme, but as always I trust you ;)
Extra Information -A nice look that is mixed between the traditional and modern.

Up for a redo? It would be awesome to have a more complex logo. I really like the job you did for Air China and Middle Eastern. A nice logo with colors gold, silver, black and , you can add your own choices as well. I like Air China's clear background as well. So jealous here, you really did a great job on it.

Decided to stick to black, gold and a very greyish silver, as the logo itself is a bit busy so an extra color might have made it a bit of a mess. Far Star (version 4 / 5) I tried to make one with embossed letters, but not sure how successful it was. It's kinda invisible on the small version of the logo, and I didn't manage to make it on the star while keeping the gradient on it. I will try to make a revised version of it though! :D

I also have made some minor changes, mostly on the swoosh to make it seem more natural. Also made an extra version without the embossed letters and background.
