I think there is a lesson in FSX that teaches you how to land ILS. I'm to lazy to check it out (It is 0:30), but I'll see if I can do it tomorrow.

I remember I read how to do it on a Cessna (and any other a/c):
Open map by pressing Alt+w, then M.
Select the airport you want to land on
Find the runway on the list on the left, and remember frequency (e.g. 109.5). Try to remember runway heading too, this will help you align later.
Set your NAV1 frequency to the beforementioned frequency (here 109.5)
Turn on NAV1, and watch your PFD (or in smaller a/c the VOR 1 indicator)
Keep the + aligned, and you'll be on the glideslope. Remember the runway heading? Use it to align perfectly.
When close enough to see the ground, adjust the heading to make your best landing yet!
This is hard, because you'll have to watch your Attitude Indicator (Artificial Horizon), speed, altitude, heading and the VOR 1 indicator. I've tried it many times, and I don't master it yet. But it's fun, especially in dense fog! Customize your weather, and have fun!
This is a short version of this guide: LINK (http://www.farmboyzimsflightsims.com/ILS_KSTS_tut.html) Look at this (http://www.flightsim.com/howto/172proj/image013.jpg) cockpit for explanation of instruments.
