I can give them Alaska flights, but we get Qantas and Air New Zealand. If the Australian airlines want to create an alliance with us, we would be thrilled, as both mainline carriers at LAX will have flights to that region.

I'll think about it... you'll probably have to go through Air Kiwi aswell.

I have a question: If my aircraft have some spare time, but not enough to go multi-frequency to some close destination, can I fly to that destination once daily? IRL Most airlines (specially LCCs) want to maximize aircraft ultilisation.

IRL intracontinental aircraft are usually parked when they land at around midnight, until they take off early in the morning. So they are usually idle for 5 - 6 hours a day. Nobody wants to come to the airport at 3 in the morning. Mainly long-haulers and cargo planes fly at that time of the night.

Thanks pilotguy for such an awesome concept and putting it to work :D. I can't wait to join! I think I will be able to join by shortly, as I am waiting for tokens. By the way, you might want to mention serving all the airports in one city from the same hub isn't very likely as one of your rules so to speak.

I agree with the above post - except where realistic (such as ORD/MDW, JFK/LGA/EWR, etc.), we should avoid serving multiple airports in the same city.  I think we should also be sticking to realistic cities for service.  If an airport has no scheduled commercial service in real life, we shouldn't be scheduling multiple daily services there from our hubs.  This is especially the case for airports that the game lists with tiny passenger levels...by the time you put in a couple daily CRJ's into an airport listed with 100 passengers, you're suggesting that you will serve an entire year's worth of passengers every day!

Some of us *cough London *cough are providing an option to get from one point in the city to another via the great service of Fluffy Flyways versus the London Underground.  ^-^ Who wants darkness when they can have the big blue above?  ;)
