Post by: blue25 on August 25, 2007, 02:10:02 am

Please get over it. This is what happens. It is usual and frankly put, what should happen. Either you kick him out or he kick you out. So, please stop complaining.

Not trying to kick you out of Appleton,WI.
Appleton is the center of nowhere, located directly on the corner of nowhere and nothing.

You know WHY you got this treatment.

Just let me have Appleton. I'll move after I make over 2mil. I'm trying to save up enough so I can make a base out of Montreal. I'd never make a base in KC. Do you want a KC gate?

No, I have like 70, with a 100% utilization now,

Montreal is a BAD,BAD,BAD choice......

You have 4 much larger airlines already fighting over it.  That would probably be infinitely bad for you.  Blue Planet alone is nasty enough to finish you off. Now combine BPA, with others including myself and you won't make money there.

Like I told you,  You already know what you have to do to make your problem go away.

its a dog eat dog world.....

  *has a flashback*

....Ahh yes I remember the first time I tried flying to Thessaloniki.....

I believe this was the only time where my airline didnt even have like any percentage on the pie chart lmao. And my airline was listed as "other" on the pie chart. My passenger load factor was somewhere around 4% and it was losing me like 500 euros per hour in real life rofl

well sure glad those days r over now :D

Remember this for the next round folks...

Starting up in the big cities is gonna be a killer. Go for the ones no-one else wants, fly a few good routes to the big cities, with limited competition, build up the fleet, then move into the big ones.

I've looked at some European routes out of my LGW base, and its like 12euros a ticket, and still they are fighting over it.

The airline world isnt fair, find your niche, and you'll do ok though

Yeah, I thought of this when starting to play AM. But unfortunately Hannover is becoming a battleground as well as bigger cities.

I see AM has upped itself to the point of AE. Too many players. If you've played AE before (whose URL and full name shall not be disclosed), you should know what to do. In that case, feel free to harass me and junk-pm me, I don't check it anyway.

But I have a feeling you're completely lost and clueless about what to do here. Well, for starters, LIVE WITH IT. China, believe it or not, has so many airlines that it has very recently BANNED all new airlines from submitting applications to the government. That's how bad it is up north. WHat do all the airlines do? LIVE WITH IT. Secondly, you're lucky AM is a time-restricted game, meaning it will get reset every 10 years (in-game) or so. If you can't beat your way up this game, join in next time.

If after 4 rounds you're still stuck in suck-land, you either have a huge problem selecting a hub, or you just aren't the type that can play large airline sims.

Either way, you must accept what you have now and move on. It's no use complaining, the other guy will just get mad and push you down more. Trust me, I've been in your position. (ahem AE....)
