In the winter Denmark is pretty dark too.

Nice try. We don't. The sun does rise above the overcast though.

It does. But maybe only if you climb a very high mountain. But all Norwegians know how to climb mountains. They do it all day long.

Or when they need to see the sun. All night long.

You see? All night? Polar nights? Last all winter? No?

I'd like to see a midnight sun before I die. But it's too cold above the Polar Circle, so I dunno.

wait... You are afraid of cold??? Even so, midnight sun is not cold. I've been in Harstad in summer, it was around 20 C at midnight :)

The summer has been unusually warm in the north this summer. They had like 20++ while the rest of Norway were like 10-15.

And no, I'm not afraid of the cold (I love skiing), but I prefer to stay where it's warm :P

Thursday I flew IFR flights over Copenhagen.

Friday I flew solo around Sjælland.

Yesterday I flew to Billund.

Today I flew to Sønderborg and Ærø.

I've been doing quite a bit of flying lately.

As a matter of fact, when flying at FL035 over Als/Ærø I received a text message from my mobile phone operator welcoming me to Germany :P

I never received a welcome back message. And yes, my phone was on, but packed away in my jacket. It's not as if mobile phone interference is a big deal onboard a completely basic Piper 28A, and I was expecting a call from naviair.
