I've been playing for a while and haven't paid much notice to this box when viewing a route. But now I look at it I'm not sure how to read it?

Flight Leg Costs   
Trip Cost   €21,809.00
Hourly Cost   €1,831.15
Aircraft-Mile Cost   €52.63
Seat-mile Cost   €0.44
Revenue-mile Cost   €0.44

What does it all mean?!

I'm not sure whether it's my crap computer or other people as well, but everytime that stupid National Geographic Aircraft Investigation ad appears at the bottom of the page it lags my computer heaps and takes ages to load. I think it's using a lot of memory but hey, it might just be me.

Description: There seems to be two gates with the same time but different codes

"al-Jouf al-Jawf Domestic Airport" (Saudi Arabia) in the Middle East.

Is this intentional?

As I understand DOC = daily operating contribution, that is the profit made after all mx, gate costs etc. are deducted. Am I right?

My DOC is € 13,666,619, I would have thoguht that in one month (one real day) I would have made € 13,666,619 * 24 = 327 998 856.

However on my finance page my projected total for the end of the month is only €252,879,009!


Could some one please explain?

What affects airline value specifically? Planes? Gates?

I ask because, although I transport more passengers than people higher than me on rankings, my airline value is lower than theirs.


So how do you consolidate your airline value?

Bugs / [W10] Page Error/Network Timeout

This is really really getting on my nerves, literally, every second click I make in World 10 will lag for a minute then come up saying network time out or page load error. My internet is fine, world 9 is working fine for me, the forums are fine it's just world 10 which is unbearable at the moment.

Is there something going on with the server?

Bugs / [Not a bug]Can't create SYD-DRW

I had created SYD-DRW but I closed it and sold the Convair 440 operating it, so I tried putting another plane (Tu-104V). Now I had three planes with 24hrs left on them and none of them showed up when I went to the marketing page. I've tried this several times with other different aircraft and no plane ever shows up. I have enough gate space at SYD and DRW.

Airline code: 14283.

How do you calculate the time a route takes in the game?

I remember reading somewhere in one of these hundreds of threads the formula but I can't find it anymore .

Hi there, I joined last week in world 9 and I'm totally addicted to this game. It's amazing!

I'm have a couple of advice-type questions.

My fleet is mix and match of

Antonov An-2P
Douglas DC-3
Nord 260 Super Broussard

My question is what should be my next plane to upgrade to? Should I phase out the Antonovs and replace them with the Nords? I was thinking of getting the Fokker F27-200. Are there any good planes coming up that I should know about?

Another question how do the meal + drink prices affect profitability. ie how/where can I see the effect?
