Read the requirements (要求). It states that
Quote
Fluency in both Traditional Chinese and English. Knowledge of Simplified Chinese not required, but is an advantage. (Does not have to be first languages, but we reserve the rights to test your language skills during the application process)

流利繁體中文及英文,懂簡体中文者優先。 (毋須是母語 ,但我們保留測試申請者語言能力的權利 )

Cantonese or Mandarin (or even other dialects) don't really matter, as long as you know Traditional chinese characters. We don't speak on the forum, and communication between staff would be in English anyway :wink:

So it's just another form of pronounciation? (Sorry for the ot, if its too terrible you could pm me)

Mandarin and Cantonese are the spoken languages, where as Traditional and Simplified are the written characters. There could be different combinations of those, like...

Mainland China = Mandarin, Simplified
Hong Kong, Macau = Cantonese, Traditional
Taiwan = Mandarin, Traditional.

Every regions have their own slangs that people from elsewhere may or may not understand (like being a native English speaker doesn't mean one would understand jokes about Texas :P )... but that is not really the point.

Well since its a forum position and not a game staff position, we might be able to relax the age limit if we do not get applicants. If we have to then it would not be leading to an ingame position.

Translation (for Stephen :P )

I am qualified, but I have already applied for another position... so...it is up to you and your needs.

I can do both Traditional and Simplified, but I don't know Cantonese.

That is not the point. Point is, we have a lot of immature players under 18 originating from Hong Kong, which unfortunately fits all the tangible requirements now that you have eliminated the age limit.
