The Danish government is outraged due to the fact that South Sudan apparently do not take it seriously. Meanwhile, it signs a trade agreement with the rebels for weaponry.

All Danish diplomats and help staff have been sent home to Denmark from whatever they've been doing in South Sudan. The embassy have been closed due to protests around it.

The Danish government sees this as a hostile action and sends the South Sudanese government an ultimatum, either let all Danish officials return to their jobs in South Sudan and give them each 100.000 USD or we will take them

South Sudan has no obligations to pay a silly fee since the communication network here is not well established and therefore few Danes were affected by the decision.

Denmark is outraged over the denial of this and suggest the South Sudanese to reconsider. Denmark demanded this as a part of an ultimatum, and the Danish Armed Forces has secretly already been send to the CAR, so please do reconsider.

Danish forces sees this as a declaration of war in combination with South Sudans lack of fulfillment to the ultimatum. Danish troops are moving across the border.
Initial UN statements indicate that no actions will be taken from UN.

Battles are said to have occured near the border. Media are flocking to the regions, the inhabitants flee to the central regions of South Sudan. The UN condems the Danish attack on South Sudan.

The Danish forces advance into South Sudanese territory and the logistic system of the South Sudanese army has been reduced to rubble due to the Danish bombardments.
