Meet the crew:

We've got 3 cats and 2 dogs so add my 14 year old sister into the mix and the house is a zoo . Unfortunately Mum went and gave the cats stupid names from their countries of origin so I've had to rename them..

Khan (Chad as I know him), Siamese.


Theo (T-Bone), Burmese.


Sakka (Dookie), my favourite . Half and half which makes him Tonkinese.


And now the dogs, who have just had stupid looking haircuts but I'm sure they'll look OK again in a few weeks' time

Heidi, our Schnauzer.


And lastly Coco, my sister's Poodle-Maltese cross, chillaxing with mum

Game Strategy / Best Aircraft for early '90s

I'm in w#140, which is currently at the end of 1990. I know I don't really need to ask, but I have decided on this fleet:

Under 1,000,000pax:
ATR 72-200

Above 1,000,000 pax, within 3250nm:
Boeing 737-300

More than 3250NM:
Airbus A310-300

I likely won't change with the ATRs or 737s, but do you think A310s are a good choice? I might get a few 767-300ERs for ultra long haul.

(Bear in mind I am based in Asia.)

My routemap isn't displaying for me on my 'View Airline' page. I only have 122 routes, other airlinesd have far more and theirs work..

Bugs / Can't Make Alliance Routes (PW21)

I am in an alliance with Asiair and Conquistador.
For some reason Conquistador has alliance routes at both Asiair and my bases, but I can only make alliance routes from Asiairs bases.

Conquistador (ID:7488) Made the alliance. Asiair is ID:1048 and I am ID:6785.

Is there a way that I can view gates that I already own and fly to? Eg I want to place my 737-700s on routes to every airport above 1 million pax, but in distance order, and half those routes are operated by ATRs or J61s. I haven't been able to figure it out yet

Is there a way that i can figure out how much it will cost to create a base in a particular city before I do so? I have about €20 mill saved up now so I know it will be more than that, but I don't want to wait too long and I don't want to buy the gates if I can't afford it.

I don't think we have one yet? A search yielded no results. I have four for now.
First two were taken with our old Olympus C-760, with some minor editing on Photoshop (Just playing around with stuff). Taken in May at our Wairarapa place.

Last two are off my Phone-
First one is using the 'Panorama' feature it has up at the Prison Farm walking the dogs this afternoon. Wellington City is visible to the left centre.


Second is a Sepia shot of a sunset in Fiji.

General Chat / Fiji Trip (Warning 15 800x600s)

Well I'm back from a week in Fiji, so as usual I'll put up a few pics, mostly aviation related.

Quick trip report:
Flew to AKL from WLG. We were booked on the '11am' Qantas flight, delayed by 2 hours as usual. We decided to not risk anymore delays due to our connecting flight in AKL so transferred to the 1pm ANZ flight. Flew up (on time) on -SJB.

Had ages to kill at AKL airport in the end before our 5pm Air Pacific Flight to Nadi. Finally boarded on time and departed in their sole 737-700, DQ-FJF. Took no photos that flight as the camera battery died..

Stayed at a hotel on the mainland for one night before some shopping in Nadi the next morning. Here's a few pics from Nadi:

That afternoon we headed out to Nadi Airport for our 3pm Sunair flight to Malololailai delayed until 5pm. We flew in two Islanders, DQ-FIN and DQ-FCX.

We checked in to our timeshare at Musket Cove that night. I'll post some shots of the holiday itself and the return leg if anyone wants to see them. Enjoy

General Chat / Cannot Buy Another Gate At Base (World 7)

I thought we could buy gates even in negative cash? I want to buy a third AMS gate (there are still 273 gates left, thats not the problem) as my plane has some hours left, but I can't. I can still buy other gates, just not ones at AMS.

I've got a bit bored of this round, so I've got a bit of a challenge I'm going to try, some others might like it too.

Just get your airline reset, and if you are in a 5 year round, see if you can get back to where you were before round's end. It'll be interesting
