Are the speeds in knots and the distances in nautical miles, or are mixed units being used, like knots and standard miles? I remember reading somewhere that the distances in game are actually miles, but I am just wondering if that is still the case because the post was from a while ago.

Regardless of the units, just divide distance by speed to get the time flown--of course, you also have to add turn time.
