« on: January 08, 2008, 09:43:30 am »I bought one instantly, it's crew intensive, a fuel guzzler with medium range, but since I have flown on it a few times I wanted one.
BUT, should it really be in the game? Although it can carry 100+ pax it rarely does, the pax carrying abilities comes from rows of primitive seats along the sides of the fuselage, and a "pillow" with a seat belt for those that didn't get a seat (yes really!). I have never heard of an IL-76 that has been made into a real pax aircraft.

Bugs / Retracted aircraft request adds to airline value
« on: January 07, 2008, 07:48:58 am »Even though it's temporary the airline value rises when I cancel a brokerage request. The increased value disappears after a minute or two so there's no use in mass requests to boost value

General Chat / Signature image rules
« on: December 30, 2007, 11:19:36 pm »All of a sudden there is a note in a locked thread saying there's a max COMBINED image size of 600*125. Mine was 287*88, well within that.
So NOW I understand that it means that you're supposed to add the height of several images
And then I get my siggy removed with a sour statement "I'm getting tired of doing this."
Well, maybe if the rules where easy to find, and they were clear you might not have to do such a pointless and tedious task.
Make a new section with all the darn rules, so we don't have to spot them inbetween other threads. I for one do not read all threads, but I do check do's and don'ts.
So instead if the nice clean images I had before, I will now have to make a BIGGER one which surely benefits everyone.
Don't get me wrong, there are some bad images out there, big and unreadable and I understand that rules are needed, just don't beech 2 days after the rule is made, it takes time to flow through the system...
Bugs / return of gates too too fast

I had no gates flagged when I went to sleep, and this morning I have 2 messages, one gate warning, and one gate returned, and it was returned at FRA. I have a terminal there and have no intention of returning gates,rented or built, if I don't have to. And one will be returned when I reach 10 built gates which is fine.
You really have to fix that issue as I have posted about it several times, and it's annoying as hell! I at least want a chance to put routes on a gate before it's returned. If I get a warning on april 1st the gates can be returned on the 1st of may, NP, but getting the warning and a gate returned within a few hours is totally unacceptable. Either I want the gate back, or 2+ million to my account as that is what I had to pay to get a new gate...

« on: August 26, 2007, 10:52:54 pm »Ok, I think this is fine as those will be available to the market, but when you take gates that I need for my base then something must b wrong. In the manual it says I need 4 gates to open a base, so I rent 4, and it might take a while to use up all slots. But what I find strange is that you (admins) can remove gates that are rented to meet the minimum requirement of 4 for a base? So now I have 3 gates at 2 of my bases...
So how many gates do I need to creat a base? 1,2,3 or 4?
